The Applicant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline), and is subject to a number of conditions.

METERED ENERGY HOLDINGS PTY LTD / ABN 44 108 143 862 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to METERED ENERGY HOLDINGS PTY LTD takes effect from 25 October 2024.
Prior to 25 October 2024 Origin Energy Electricity Limited / ABN 33 071 052 287 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption.
