The AER is required under Chapter 6A of the National Electricity Rules (NER) to make a transmission determination for VENCorp in relation to the Victorian electricity transmission network. The application of Chapter 6A of the NER to the unique Victorian electricity transmission arrangements is reflected in a jurisdictional derogation in Chapter 9 of the NER.
