The AER is required under chapter 6 of the National Electricity Rules to make a distribution determination for the Victorian electricity distribution network service providers (DNSPs) CitiPower, Jemena, Powercor, SP AusNet and United Energy in relation to their respective electricity distribution services.
On 30 November 2009, CitiPower, Jemena, Powercor, SP AusNet and United Energy submitted their regulatory proposals together with supporting information to the AER. The proposals cover the 2011 to 2015 regulatory period and include information on the Victorian electricity distribution network service providers' proposed capital and operating expenditure for that period. The AER commenced formal consultation on the regulatory proposals in accordance with the National Electricity Rules on 24 December 2009 and released its final determination on 29 October 2010.
The AER has amended United Energy's 2011-15 distribution determination in accordance with the Tribunal’s orders of 5 April 2012. The amended 2011-15 distribution determination covers the regulatory control period from 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2015. It sets out the amount of revenue that United Energy may recover from providing regulated electricity distribution network services.]/no-lexicon]
