On 9 December 2008, the AER held a pre-determination conference for its draft decision for TransGrid.  The purpose of the pre-determination conference was for the AER to explain the draft decision and to receive oral submissions from interested parties.

In January 2009 TransGrid submitted a revised revenue proposal to the AER.

In February 2009, the AER invited interested parties to make submissions to the AER draft decision and TransGrid's revised regulatory proposal.  Submissions closed on 16 February 2009.
