At the request of Consumer Challenge Panel (CCP), the AER arranged a Networks NSW meeting with the CCP NSW/ACT subpanel 1 on 20 February 2014. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss general capex and opex issues for the NSW Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs) Transitional regulatory proposals and the forthcoming reset proposals for the regulatory control period 2014-19.

This meeting was followed by another meeting on 20 March 2014.

On 22 August 2014, the Consumer Challenge Panel provided the AER with its advice on the regulated Rate of Return. This is general advice from the CCP to the AER and does not relate to any particular network service provider's proposal.
