On 5 June 2020, the AER published its final decision for the transmission interconnector between Queensland and New South Wales, Directlink, for the 2020-25 regulatory control period commencing 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2025.
On 31 January 2019, Directlink, submitted its revenue proposal to the AER. The proposal sets out the revenue Directlink proposes to collect from electricity consumers through transmission charges from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2025.
Delay to Final Decision
Following recent consultation with stakeholders, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has decided to delay its final 2020-25 network revenue determinations due on 30 April 2020. The AER now intends to release its final decision for Directlink on 5 June 2020. Further information can be found here.
Draft Decision
On 8 October 2019, we released our draft decision on Directlink's transmission determination for the 2020-25 regulatory control period.
Revised Proposal
Directlink submitted its revised revenue proposal in response to our draft decision on 10 December 2019.
Submissions
We invited interested parties to make submissions on our draft decision and Directlink's revised proposal by 15 January 2020. We received one submission.
