On 16 November 2023 the Australian Energy Regulator accepted an application from Tesla Energy Ventures Australia Pty Ltd (TEVA) for an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law.

Invitation for submissions on the application closed on 18 December 2023. No submissions were received.
