On 10 July 2017, the AER approved an electricity retailer authorisation application from Sustainable Savings Pty Ltd (Sustainable) under the National Energy Retail Law (NERL). Sustainable is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the NERL is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
