On 3 July 2015, the AER granted a retailer authorisation to Savant Energy Power Networks Pty Ltd (SEPN) under the National Energy Retail Law. SEPN is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the National Energy Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought public submissions on SEPN's application for retailer authorisation. Consultation on the application closed on 18 June 2015. No submissions were received.
SEPN is a private company that proposes to on-sell electricity to customers in embedded networks.
