On 18 August 2017, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved a retailer authorisation application from PowerHub Pty Ltd (PowerHub) under the National Energy Retail Law (NERL). PowerHub is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the NERL is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on 30 June 2017. No submissions were received.
