On 6 September 2018, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved an electricity retailer authorisation from The Embedded Networks Company Pty Ltd (The Embedded Networks Company) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
Background
On 2 February 2018, the AER accepted an application from The Embedded Networks Company for an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). The Embedded Networks Company is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on Tuesday 6 March 2018. No submissions were received.
