On 24 March 2016, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved a gas retailer authorisation application from Click Energy Pty Ltd under the National Energy Retail Law. Click Energy is now authorised to retail gas as and when the National Energy Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on 11 March 2016. No submissions were received.
From September 2017, Click Energy Pty Ltd was known as amaysim Energy Pty Ltd. amaysim Energy Pty Ltd has two trading names: Click Energy and amaysim
