On 8 June 2022, the AER approved an electricity retailer authorisation application from Ampol Energy (Retail) Pty Ltd under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). Ampol Energy Retail is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
