On 16 December 2020, the AER approved an electricity retailer authorisation application from Amber Electric Pty Ltd (Amber Electric) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). Amber Electric is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
