Ergon Energy Network (Ergon Energy) applied to the AER for a waiver on 25 October 2023.  

The waiver application would allow Ergon Energy to install, own, operate and maintain distributed energy resources behind participating customers’ meters in isolated networks in Queensland (complete list of isolated networks is in Ergon’s addendum).

Submissions on this application for a ring-fencing waiver closed on 8 March 2024.

The AER received submissions from four stakeholders, two of which were confidential.  The public submissions are attached below.
