In April 2013, QIC purchased the Moomba to Adelaide Pipeline System (MAPS) from the APA Group.

The 1185 kilometre pipeline system constructed in 1969, which extends from Adelaide to Moomba in the Cooper Basin, is used to transport gas for use in South Australian power generation, and industrial and domestic applications.

This pipeline is not covered by regulation.
