The AER has granted an extension to Power and Water under clause 3.1.8(a) of Power and Water’s 2014–19 Network Price Determination, to allow a pass through application associated with Tropical Cyclone Marcus to be submitted by 3 December 2018. The AER considered there was sufficient difficulty in assessing or quantifying the effect of the relevant pass through events within the normal 90 business day period.

The granting of this extension has no implications for the AER’s assessment of the merits of any pass through application when it is lodged.
