On 28 October 2022, ElectraNet submitted an application to the AER under clause 6A.7.3 of the National Electricity Rules for a positive pass through of costs related to an increase in insurance premiums. ElectraNet’s application proposed to recover $5.3 million from electricity users through an increase in transmission prices in the 2023–24 regulatory year.

Interested parties were invited to make submissions on ElectraNet’s 2022–23 insurance cost pass through application by 23 November 2022. No submissions were received.
