On 16 June 2015 TasNetworks submitted a revised Cost Allocation Method/Methodology (CAM) for AER approval.
A CAM is used to separately account for the costs of providing electricity distribution and transmission services, including from other services the Network Service Provider (NSP) might provide. A new CAM is required because the previous CAMs for now defunct Aurora and Transend are no longer appropriate for the joint distribution and transmission network service provider TasNetworks.
On 26 June 2015 the AER approved TasNetworks’ proposed revised CAM. For details please see the AER decision paper.
