On 6 December 2012, the AER released its final decision on AMI remote services.

In its statement of proposed charges JEN sought to maintain its existing charges and terms and conditions. JEN’s proposal set these charges out in $2010 dollar values. The AER’s final decision sets out the approved AMI remote service charges proposed by JEN in 2012 dollar values. Accordingly, JEN is able to charge customers the proposed charges as set out in the AER’s final decision. As JEN did not propose to make any changes to the charges or terms and conditions in its proposal, JEN will not escalate these prices to 2013 dollar values.
