On 20 December 2022 the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from QIC Limited as trustee for the QIC Castle Towers Trust for an individual exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law at Castle Towers Shopping Centre, 6-14 Castle Street, Castle Hill NSW 2154.

Submissions were invited from interested stakeholders on QIC Limited as trustee for the QIC Castle Towers Trust's application via public consultation, which closed on 8 February 2023. No submissions were received.
