On 23 November 2010, the Major Energy Users (MEU) submitted a rule change request to the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) regarding the potential exercise of market power by generators in the NEM.

Draft decision

On 1 August 2012 we provided a submission on the AEMC’s draft rule change determination. The submission highlighted concerns with both the analytical framework and the conclusions in the draft determination.
