In 2021 we undertook a survey to measure executive, government, industry and consumer advocate stakeholders’ perceptions of the AER. The results indicate improvement on the 2018 stakeholder survey results, the last time we monitored these findings.
Key findings
Key findings for 2021 include:
- 70% of stakeholders gave the AER a 7 out of 10 or higher in agreeing that our primary focus is to support and protect consumers.
- 73% of stakeholders rated our overall reputation 7 or higher out of 10.
- 77% of all stakeholders rated their trust of the AER a 7 out of 10 or higher.
- 48% of all stakeholders felt our reputation has improved.
