The AER has considered applications from three retailers to include additional messages, not required by the Better Bills Guideline, among Tier 1 information (or on the front page) on their revised customer bills.
Applications from Red Energy and Lumo Energy were rejected in full, along with parts of an application from AGL Energy.
The approved additions relate to minor clarifying text to the better offer message. The rejected additions included certification logos, loyalty program tracking boxes and other proposed text to the better offer message.
