On 31 March 2026, Ausgrid submitted a pricing proposal for its New South Wales electricity distribution network for the period 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.
On 22 April 2026, we approved Ausgrid's pricing proposal.
An error was identified in Ausgrid’s 2026–27 pricing proposal that we approved on 22 April 2026. This error is in ‘Ausgrid – 2026–27 – SCS pricing model – 31 March 2026’ where we approved a price of 0.8856 cents / kWh for the off-peak charging component for the LV storage tariff (export; EA335). The correct price should be 0 cents / kWh.
On 29 June 2026, Ausgrid notified that this error did not affect its billing system, that it had corrected price lists on its website (available here) and that no customers have been charged the erroneous price.
