The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) will undertake compliance checks of the pricing proposals and proposed network charges submitted by Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Tasmanian, and Victorian electricity distributors. The compliance checks will ensure consistency against the National Electricity Rules and each distributor’s five-year regulatory revenue determination.
Following these compliance checks, we will publish the approved 2025–26 pricing proposals and network charges, including a Statement of Reasons outlining our decision for each network within 30 business days.
We will receive and assess pricing proposals for Queensland and South Australian electricity distributors in the coming weeks, following their five-year revenue determinations for the 2025–30 regulatory period.
A copy of the all the proposed tariffs can be accessed here.
