On 20 May 2024, the Department of Social Services published a discussion paper about how to improve Centrepay. The Department recognises that Centrepay is not meeting its objective for some customers and requires additional support and protections to ensure it operates in line with its objective.
The AER made a submission to the discussion paper on 10 July 2024.
