The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) welcomes the Australian Government’s reappointment of Ms Clare Savage as Chair and appointment of Mr Justin Oliver as Deputy Chair.
Ms Savage has been appointed for a further 3 years after being first appointed in 2019 and is the first AER Chair to be re-appointed.
Mr Oliver’s appointment follows Jim Cox’s decision to retire at the end of his current term. Mr Oliver will take on the Deputy Chair role from 25 June 2024.
