On 24 January 2024, Transgrid submitted a waiver application from clause 3.1(b) (legal separation) of the Electricity Transmission Ring-fencing Guideline (the Guideline).

Transgrid requested that the AER waive their obligations to continue to provide telecommunications services to 6 customers for 12 months.
