The AER has today released draft Annual Regulatory Information Orders (draft Orders) and an accompanying explanatory statement for stakeholder feedback.
We are seeking feedback on a range of issues, including:
- whether the proposed reporting period and time frames are appropriate
- whether the proposed information requirements are appropriate, and
- whether the proposed reporting framework is flexible enough and fit for purpose.
We invite interested stakeholders to make a submission on our draft Orders and explanatory statement by Wednesday, 31 January 2024. Submission should be emailed to networksinformationaer [dot] gov [dot] au (networksinformation[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au).
The Networks Information Requirements Review is driven both by the energy sector transformation and recognising that our current information requirements need to be refreshed. The review helps ensure the information we collect from and about regulated electricity networks is robust, accessible, and fit for purpose into the future.
