On 22 December 2022, Murraylink submitted an application under clause 6A.7.3 of the National Electricity Rules (NER) to the AER for a negative pass through of costs due to its actual connection charges for 2021–22 being lower than what was forecast in Murraylink’s 2018–23 revenue determination.

Murraylink’s application proposes to refund $870,835 to its network users through a reduction in transmission prices in 2023–24.
