On 18 March, SA Power Networks submitted an application to vary an existing waiver allowing the distributor to provide temporary generation services at two sites for the South Australian Government. SA Power Networks' waiver variation application sought to extend the waiver expiry date for the 'temporary generation north' site from 1 June 2020 to 30 June 2021.

On 3 April, SA Power Networks SA Networks submitted an addendum to the waiver variation application, seeking to extend the waiver expiry date for the 'temporary generation south' site also, from 1 June 2020 to 1 December 2020.
