The AER released a final report on its review of the approach to estimating corporate tax costs for regulated energy networks on 17 December 2018. The final report presents further analysis of the current tax management practices of the regulated networks, and the AER's recommendations on changes to its regulatory tax approach.

The AER commissioned a further expert report (addendum to earlier report) which was released with the final report.
