On 15 July 2016, the Australian Energy Regulator approved a gas retailer authorisation application from Savant Energy Power Networks Pty Ltd under the National Energy Retail Law. Savant Energy is now authorised to retail gas as and when the National Energy Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction
