On 9 August 2013, the AER published draft indicative category analysis data templates.

Interested parties were invited to make written submissions on the draft data templates for category analysis. These submissions were provided as part of the submissions process on the draft expenditure forecast assessment guideline and can be found on the Expenditure Forecast Assessment Guideline page under the draft decision milestone. Submissions closed on 20 September 2013.

AER staff hosted meetings in most capital cities with network service providers in late September to discuss their reactions to the indicative category analysis data templates.
