On 29 October 2008, GasNet Australia Pty Limited (GasNet), proposed a variation to its access arrangement 2008-12 for the principal transmission system under Part 8, Division 10 of the National Gas Rules (NGR).

On 26 November 2008, the AER approved GasNet's proposed amendments to the payment deed principles contained in Schedule 6 of its access arangement. The amendment is effective 1 December 2008.
