On 23 September 2003, EnergyAustralia submitted to the ACCC its application (other than attachments A, B, C, D, F and G) in relation to the reset of EnergyAustralia's revenue cap for the second regulatory period commencing 1 July 2004.

On 31 October 2003, EnergyAustralia submitted attachments A and B to the ACCC. On 11 November 2003, Energy Australia submitted attachments C and D, and on 18 November 2003, EnergyAustralia submitted attachments F and G.

Consultant reports

On 29 March 2004, the ACCC received a final report from its consultant, GHD, on the appropriateness of EnergyAustralia's revenue cap application. GHD reported on EnergyAustralia's past capital expenditure, forecast capital expenditure, forecast operating expenditure and service standards.

On 26 March 2004, the ACCC called for interested parties to make submissions to its consultant's review of EnergyAustralia's proposed revenue determination.
