In December 2021 the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment published a consultation paper seeking stakeholder feedback on the barriers experienced by customers and industry in the energy transition and how these can be best mitigated. The consultation aimed to identify reforms to support customer access to and uptake of new energy technologies and innovation.
The AER provided a submission in response to the consultation paper on 10 March.
