On 4 October 2021 the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) published a notice of consultation to update network planning assumptions described in the Network Support and Control Ancillary Services (NSCAS) Description and Quantity Procedure. On 18 November 2021 AEMO published a Draft Report and Determination which proposed amending the planning assumption such that no pre-contingent line switching could be assumed for voltage control.
The AER made a submission to the consultation paper on 2 December 2021.
