On 29 November 2021 Power and Water Corporation submitted a waiver application under clause 5.2 of the Ring-fencing Guideline - Electricity distribution. Power and Water Corporation requested that the AER waive the obligations under clause 4.2.4, 4.4.1(a) and 6.2.3.
On 17 May 2022 we published our final decision to grant Power and Water Corporation's waiver application with clause 4.2.4, 4.4.1(a). The Guideline does not provide the power to the AER to grant a waiver in respect to clause 6.2.3. For that reason, a waiver for clause 6.2.3 is not considered in this decision document.
