On 28 January 2021, Queensland electricity transmission business, Powerlink Queensland, submitted its revenue proposal to the AER. The proposal sets out the revenue Powerlink Queensland proposes to collect from its customers through transmission charges over the five-year 2022-27 regulatory control period, from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2027.

Invitation for submissions

The AER invites interested stakeholders to make a submission on Powerlink Queensland's 2022-27 revenue proposal by the close of business on 24 May 2021.

We prefer that all submissions be publicly available to facilitate an informed and transparent consultative process. We will treat submissions as public documents unless otherwise requested. All non-confidential submissions will be placed on the AER's website. We request parties wishing to submit confidential information:

  • clearly identify the information that is the subject of the confidentiality claim
  • provide a non-confidential version of the submission in a form suitable for publication.

Public forum

To assist stakeholders in their consideration of Powerlink Queensland's 2022-27 revenue proposal, we will publish an issues paper on 24 March and hold an online public forum on 8 April, prior to the close of the submission period on 24 May.
