On 30 April 2020, the AER advised stakeholders of our decision to delay our final network revenue determinations for a number of regulated businesses, including SA Power Networks, until the end of May 2020. This decision was made to allow the AER to include a more accurate reflection of the economic circumstances in our decision for the next regulatory control period by enabling the inclusion of the Reserve Bank’s updated short-term forecast of inflation.
However, to aid transparency and to assist stakeholders to prepare for 1 July network price changes, we committed to publishing a number of documents in advance of this decision. As per our Pricing Timeline Process document this includes an indicative tariff structure statement (TSS).
Today we have published the indicative TSS for SA Power Networks to help the network and retailers prepare for the implementation of the new tariff structures on 1 July 2020. For transparency, we have included both the marked up document and a clean updated document. The approved TSS will be published as part of the final network determinations at the end of May 2020.
The indicative TSS and other relevant documents for SA Power Networks are available on the updates page for SA Power Networks' regulatory determination.
We are also working to publish indicative TSS for Ergon Energy and Energex as soon as practical; these will be made available in the Updates section of the relevant network revenue determinations in the lead up to publication of our final decision.
