The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has paid tribute to the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of Energy Consumers Australia (ECA), Rosemary Sinclair.
AER Chair Clare Savage thanked Ms Sinclair for her advocacy on behalf of consumers which formed an integral element of the Australian energy market.
“Rosemary has been a strong voice for consumers and has worked with us on many projects to deliver the best possible outcomes for Australian energy customers. We thank her for all her work, from helping to establish the ECA to her input on innovation like the NewReg project. While her voice around the table will be missed, her contributions ensure her legacy in the sector will be felt for a long time.
“Rosemary has worked closely with many AER staff and board members over the years and I know I speak for them when I congratulate her on her new role and wish her all the best in the future.”
