The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has approved the 2020 Victorian gas transmission tariffs of APA Group’s Victorian Transmission Services. These tariffs comply with the requirements of the AER-approved gas access arrangement for the period 2018-22.
Transmission costs typically make up less than 3 per cent of the retail bill. Increases in transmission network tariffs are expected to have a minimal impact on customer’s bills, increasing them by less than 0.2 per cent.
These increases are the minimum required for APA Group to continue to provide a safe and reliable service and to meet regulatory obligations.
