Variation of individual exemption
On 30 July 2021, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from Aatlis Utilities Pty Ltd (Aatlis Utilities) to vary the individual exemption granted on 23 December 2019 for the 'Aatlis Utilities Distribution Area'. An applicant may submit an application to vary an individual exemption in circumstances where the information provided in the original application has changed.
Submissions on Aatlis Utilities variation application closed 27 August 2021. No submissions were received.
On 26 November 2021, the AER approved Aatlis Utilities' application for variation of individual exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (NERL).
Background
On 13 September 2019, the AER accepted an application from Aatlis Utilities for an individual exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law. The AER held a public consultation on Aatlis Utilities' application from 13 September to 11 October 2019. No submissions were received.
On 23 December 2019, the AER approved Aatlis Utilities' application for an individual exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the NERL.
