AusNet Services owns and operates Victoria’s shared electricity transmission network. On 29 October 2020 AusNet Services submitted its revenue proposal for the five years commencing 1 April 2022. The proposal sets out the revenue that AusNet Services proposes to collect from its customers through transmission charges from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2027.

The AER published its draft decision on AusNet Services' proposal on 30 June 2021.

On 2 September 2021 AusNet services submitted its revised revenue proposal and supporting materials.

On 28 January 2022 the AER published its final decision on the revenue AusNet Services can recover from its customers in the 2022–27 regulatory period.

Updates

On 31 January 2023, the AER published its final decision on transmission pricing methodologies with amendments for system strength pricing (approved amended pricing methodology). The approved amended pricing methodology supersedes the pricing methodology approved in the AER’s 28 January 2022 final determination. All other aspects of the determination remain as per the AER’s 28 January 2022 final determination.
