The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has today released its decision on network tariffs for Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) in 2018-19.
The decision reduces network charges for the coming financial year in Tasmania by around $30. Charges will increase by just over $16 in the ACT.
The impact of the decision on retail prices will be decided by the relevant regulator in each jurisdiction: the Office of the Tasmanian Economic Regulator and the ACT’s Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission.
Their decisions will be released closer to July 1 2018.
