The Australian Energy Regulator published its annual report on 7 October 2016. The report details the agency’s work in 2015–16 and tracks our performance against comprehensive targets laid out in our Statement of Intent to the COAG Energy Council.
The report details our work in setting revenues for energy networks, regulating retail energy markets so that customers can participate confidently, monitoring wholesale energy markets, and our compliance and enforcement work during the year in retail and wholesale markets. The report includes a discussion of our 2016 stakeholder survey results, and sets out information on our staffing and budget position.
