The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has received revised regulatory proposals from the five electricity distribution service providers in Victoria, as well as submissions from third party stakeholders on our October 2015 preliminary decisions. These documents are available on our website.
The revised regulatory proposals set out the revenues the businesses propose to collect from electricity consumers in Victoria through distribution charges for the next five year period—that is, 2016 to 2020.
Interested third party stakeholders are invited to comment on the Victorian distributors’ revised regulatory proposals by 4 February 2016. By the same date, we will allow further submissions from all stakeholders, including the distribution businesses, on the submissions made by third party stakeholders to the preliminary decisions.
Our final decision is due to be released in late April 2016.
