On 4 June 2014, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from SE Solar 2 for an individual electricity exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law.
On 25 July 2014, the AER granted an individual exemption to SE Solar 2 for electricity.
